Opening and Closing the CD-ROM Tray

Question:

Hi, I was trying out the "Opening and Closing the CD-ROM Tray" tip and without success opening or closing the CD-ROM doot. I tried this on another computer and it worked fine. Any ideas?

Solution:

Not all CD-ROMs support opening or closing the door programatically. I have seen drives that even support opening but not closing. When using this tip you will have to bear in mind that there are some CD-ROM drives that do not support this. If the drive does not support this you will an error and if so you should warn the user that they will need to do this manually.
